Code of Conduct

Preamble

Our code of conduct is intended to be a guide for the entire onexip GmbH and therefore applies to all of us equally. In detail, he addresses to the top management, the executives and all our beneficiaries and customers. On the one hand, it represents the demand we place on ourselves to live up to the values ​​and principles listed therein. At the same time, it signals to the outside world that we should behave responsibly towards our business partners, customers and employees.

Commitment of our Company Management

The onexip GmbH sees it as its duty to act economically, socially and environmentally consciously. The onexip GmbH endeavors to conduct its business competently and on an ethical basis and to operate fair competition in all markets in which it operates. This includes compliance with the applicable laws and the acceptance of prohibitions on cartels and restrictions on competition. We avoid gaining improper advantages over customers or competitors. In addition, the onexip GmbH strives to always use the most modern and at the same time most durable technologies in the projects for its customers. The onexip GmbH appreciates its employees and customers through collegial interaction and progress. The onexip GmbH is actively committed to a friendly, productive and future-oriented working atmosphere.

Implementation and Enforcement

The onexip GmbH makes the necessary efforts to comply with the principles and values ​​described in this Code of Conduct:

1. Team spirit and constructive cooperation

We constantly question existing solutions and develop new ideas for the benefit of our customers and suppliers. To this end, we encourage constructive teamwork among our employees. Your interests and demands on us are decisive for our work and further development. We are successful in working together thanks to the diversity of our employees and their commitment in the business areas.

2. Standards of cooperation

We expect all of our employees to always act according to the highest professional standards and company guidelines. If employees violate existing guidelines, rules or regulations in the course of their work or through their behavior, they must expect measures.

3. Open communication with employees

We do not cover up wrongdoing. If our employees make a good faith report of actual or suspected misconduct, we will not tolerate attempts at intimidation or retaliation against such individuals. We understand “good faith” to mean that our employees are convinced that their representation is correct. This applies regardless of whether a later investigation confirms the employees’ version or not.

4. Dialogue with our cooperation partners

All of our partners’ business information and their trade secrets are treated sensitively and confidentially as a matter of principle. Necessary documents are properly created, stored or, if necessary, destroyed after the end of the cooperation.

5. Customer focus

We record the wishes, needs and expectations of our customers and business partners in order to ensure a targeted implementation in products, services or processes. Our ultimate goal is to build a long-term and stable relationship with our customers and business partners on the basis of trust.

6. Acceptance of gifts, donations

a) Gifts to our employees

Our employees do not demand or accept any personal benefits from customers that could affect their own behavior in relation to their work for the company. If gifts are offered by third parties, these may only be accepted if they are common practice and can be recognized as courtesy or courtesy (e.g. promotional gifts with the logo of the company making the donation, such as calendars or pens). In the case of gifts whose value exceeds the usual amount, the compliance officer or management must be informed. If this is not possible, these gifts are to be rejected as a matter of principle.

b) Gifts from our employees

Gifts on our part may also only be offered within a framework customary for the business relationship and to a materially reasonable extent. The receiving person must not be able to attach any obligation that would affect their business decisions.

c) Donations

As a matter of principle, onexip GmbH does not donate to political parties, individuals or organizations whose goals contradict our corporate philosophy or damage our reputation. Donations are always made transparently.

7. Bribery and corruption

We do not tolerate any form of corruption or bribery, regardless of whether it harms our company assets or the assets of third parties. We use control mechanisms to ensure that bribery, theft, embezzlement, fraud, tax evasion or money laundering are prevented. We prohibit any form of criminal behavior. Our employees are also prohibited from accepting or giving favors of any kind (cash, travel, gifts, etc.) that are linked to an improper advantage (awarding of a contract, project award, etc.). Our business partners are also required to avoid conflicts of interest that harbor a risk of corruption.

8. Privacy

We treat all personal data of our customers, business partners and employees with the greatest care. This includes names, addresses, telephone numbers and date of birth or information about the current state of health. Our employees are obliged to take all measures to secure the data that are suitable to protect our IT system from both internal and external data theft. This applies in particular to misused passwords and unauthorized downloading of files, especially inappropriate material from the Internet. We comply with the current EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

9. Environment protection

Protecting the environment is an important concern for us. Our employees are required to use all natural resources used in our company (e.g. energy, water) sparingly. Our employees are expected to handle our products and/or services responsibly. To protect our employees, we comply with all laws and regulations relating to health and safety at work. To this end, our managers in particular take measures to create a healthy and safe working environment for our employees.

10. Compliance with applicable law

All those involved in onexip GmbH contribute to the fulfillment of the code of conduct and comply with applicable law. Our managers also undertake to familiarize themselves with the laws, regulations and rules that are relevant to their area of ​​responsibility and to comply with them without exception. The business practices of our business partners and their suppliers must also comply with applicable laws. This applies in particular to import, export and domestic trade in goods, technologies or services, but also to payment and capital transactions. Violations of economic embargoes, terrorist financing and trade, import and export control regulations must be ruled out by our business partners.

11. Fair competition

We are committed to fair competition and comply with the relevant laws and regulations. We refrain from agreeing on prices, conditions and strategies with competitors, other companies and dealers that impede fair competition. We do not participate in any anti-competitive boycott.

12. Dealing with company internals

We attach great importance to the fact that the work equipment used and the intellectual property of the company are handled carefully and responsibly.

13. Prohibition of Discrimination

Any form of discrimination is strictly forbidden. It does not matter whether it is about nationality, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, disability, religion or belief. Promotions and new hires are always free of discrimination. Everyone has the right to equal treatment and protection.

14. Human Rights

Human rights are very important to us. Everyone has the right to life, liberty, integrity and security, as well as to freedom of opinion, belief and conscience. In addition, everyone has the right to property and equality. We prohibit any form of violation of human rights.

15. Child or forced labor

We strictly reject children or forced labor without exception and expect the same from our business partners.
